Despite the drop back to the Combination, Palace were way off the pace all season in a Division they really should have dominated.

season 2006/07

Palace found themselves back in the Combination League after changes in qualification rules for the FA Premership Reserve Leagues, which effectively excluded all non-Senior Premiership clubs. The League was further weakened by the withdrawal of Crawley Town from this South section of the League.
