Stalemate in the second eleven's first pre-season friendly

Whilst the first team were in action on Saturday (30/7), Palace reserves kicked off their pre-season with a 2-2 draw away at Hitchin Town.

Like the first team, the reserves only have a short pre-season period this time round, with only two more games set to be played.

Palace took the lead early through Lewis Grabban, hithcin leveled through Sozzo around the half hour mark. Midway through the second half, Grabben grabbed another, but Hitchin restored parity three minutes from time after a scramble.
